The 2026 Anaheim 1 Supercross is officially here, and we are excited to see the best in the world battle for the top spot this year. With Chase Sexton going from KTM to Kawasaki, Jorge Prado going from Kawasaki to KTM, Eli Tomac going from Yamaha to KTM, and Jason Anderson from Kawasaki to Suzuki, many heavy hitters are on new machinery this season, which should make things even more interesting at the opener. We also have a newcomer to the 450 class this weekend, Austin Forkner is making his premier class debut on his Triumph TF450-X, as he plans to get his feet wet in the big boy class for the first few rounds before dropping back down to the 250SX class for the East division.
Of course, the addition of Ducati has also created some major buzz, with Justin Barcia and Dylan Ferrandis representing for the newly formed Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati team, things are going to be extra exciting on Saturday.

JETT LAWRENCE: MISSING IN ACTION
Jett was injured just three weeks before Anaheim 1. He injured his knee at Glendale last year and missed the rest of the season. So far, in his 450 career, Jett has won every Championship that he was healthy for. However, staying healthy and making it to every race is not an easy task.
Honda HRC Progressive confirmed on December 20th that Jett Lawrence fractured his right ankle/foot in a training crash at the Dog Pound facility in Florida. The Australian underwent surgery the next day in Florida to repair a fractured talus and navicular. The recovery period is expected to be at least three months.
“Words can’t describe how I’m feeling right now,” Lawrence said after the incident. “The team and I put in so much work during the offseason to improve. I keep reminding myself that we have overcome challenges before, and this is no different. I’ll put the same focus into my recovery that I put into being the best athlete I can be each day. My goal is to get this ankle fully healed up and return as competitive as ever and make the 2026 season as successful as we can.”

Many have asked, and it’s back, the MXA Fantasy League is live for its third season in 2026, and this time we have new prizes and new ways to earn them! The Grand Prize for this year is a brand new Stark Varg 1.2 model, and to win it, all you have to do is enter your picks and play the MXA Fantasy League app all season long to be entered into the random drawing to score a brand new electric dirt bike at the end of the season.
We are proud to have our own app, built in-house by MXA’s Justin Lee. We love the camaraderie that is created amongst family and friends who play it, and we believe in it so much that we decided to throw some extra motivation into the pot for 2026. This Grand Prize will be randomly selected after the Las Vegas SMX Finale from a list of names of the people who were consistent and diligent enough to enter their picks on time for every race, all season long.
The Giant Bicycles Trance X2 mountain bike will go to the player who has the most points at the end of the 31-round 2026 SuperMotocross season.
As usual, the MXA Fantasy League app is free to download and free to play. In addition to the Stark Varg, we will still be rewarding the top finishing players with weekly prizes, and with a brand new Giant Bicycles Trance X2 Mountain Bike, going to the player with the most points at the end of the 31-race season. Find your flow on the mountain with the Giant Trance X2 (the one we’re giving away is Metallic Black, as pictured). This bike has adjustable geometry, the option to change rear wheel size, and it comes with a new 140mm Maestro rear suspension setup. This versatile trail bike is ready to conquer single-track with confidence and control, and it is perfect for cross-training for motocross.
We’re giving away an Arai VX-Pro4 helmet to the player who scores the most points at the Anaheim 1 Supercross on the MXA Fantasy League app.
Arai is known for its ultra-high-quality handmade Japanese helmets, famous for its R75 technology. Arai doesn’t focus on gimmicks or exotic shapes—they stay loyal to their customers by never compromising safety. This weekend, for Anaheim 1, we’re giving away an Arai VX-Pro4 helmet to the MXA Fantasy League app player who scores the most points at the opener.
