David Steuer of Steuer & Associates of Farmington Hills, was named president of Home Builders Association (HBA) of Southeastern Michigan. Steuer has served on the HBA Board of Directors since 2020, according to a press release from HBA.
The HBA also announced its 2026 Executive Committee, which in addition to Steuer includes: First Vice President-Vito Castellana, V.I.P. Homes, Inc., Shelby Township; Treasurer-Barbara Burnham, B.J. Burnham Design, Bloomfield Hills; Secretary-Darian Neubecker, Robertson Homes, Bloomfield Hills; and Immediate Past President-Tim Capaldi, CGR, Capaldi Building, Birmingham.
Vice Presidents include Sunny Grewal, Grewal Homes, Inc., Bloomfield Hills; Mark Guidobono, Cambridge Homes, Inc., Northville; John Kelly, Kelly Building & Development Co. LLC, Birmingham; Aaron Rosenhaus, Uniland Corp., Southfield and Associate Vice President-H. William Freeman, Lumberg, Freeman, Gleeson, Hicks & Khalil PLLC., Bloomfield Hills. The CEO is Forrest M. Wall, CAE.
Steuer graduated from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan with dual bachelor’s degrees in Real Estate and in Business Administration, Management and Operations.
In 1986, he formed his own company, Steuer & Associates, Inc. His company has built more than 1500 homes since then, and continues to own and manage residential and commercial rental properties. Steuer also taught real estate fundamentals at U of M for five years, according to the release.
Steuer was appointed to the Orchard Lake Village Planning Commission in 2022 and was elected to the Orchard Lake City Council in 2023 for a three-year term.
