BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Golden Empire Transit (GET) has introduced the Toucan Trolley, a new service connecting downtown to Old Town Kern during the Second Saturday event on Jan. 10, 2026.
The trolley will run every 15 minutes from the GET Transit Center to Wool Growers in Old Town Kern, with stops near various small businesses and restaurants.
Additional posted stops include F and 20th streets, Truxtun Avenue and Eye Street, Truxtun and Chester avenues, Truxtun and Dignity Health Convention Center, R and 17th streets, 19th and R streets, and East 19th and King streets.
Operating from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, the fare is $1.65 per ride or $3.55 for a day pass.
