A stolen truck crashed into a home in Piedmont on Wednesday afternoon, according to the police department.

Officers responded to the area of Blair and Hillside avenues at around 4:45 p.m. for a report of a theft of tools, authorities said. There, police said it was determined the vehicle, a 2026 GMC Sierra 3500 with an attached trailer hauling a large quantity of dirt and concrete, was stolen.

According to officers, the suspects drove away westbound on Blair toward Ricardo Avenue before losing control of the vehicle at Ricardo Avenue, where it collided with the front of a home.

The police department said nobody was hurt. Police said the suspects, described as men wearing ski masks, entered a dark gray Honda and drove away toward Grand Avenue.

Police ask anyone with information or relevant video footage in the area to contact them at 510-420-3000. The police department did not reveal the number of suspects wanted in this case.
