SACRAMENTO, Calif. – On Thursday, the California Lottery announced that five lucky players have become millionaires, each winning $1 million through two different Scratchers® games sold across Southern California.

Jorge Zavala Bautista of San Diego struck it rich with a 50X The Cash Scratchers® ticket purchased at Home Bar on Ruffin Road.

In the City of Gardena, Rosalie Norquist celebrated her $1 million win with a ticket from the 40th Anniversary revival of the California Jackpot Scratchers, bought at the 7-Eleven on Vermont Avenue.

A group of three Power 10’s Scratchers® players also celebrated million-dollar wins. Benjamin Parra won with a ticket from Circle M Mini Market on Downey Avenue in Downey.

Alejandro Alcala secured his prize with a ticket from El Toro Liquor on Atlantic Boulevard in Maywood.

Arturo Rizo Rizo rounded out the group with a winning ticket from Northgate Market on Prairie Avenue in Inglewood.

The California Lottery supports public education, with proceeds from ticket sales helping to fund programs across the state. The funds aid athletics, career development, arts, and music programs from kindergarten through higher education.
