Re “County could see dry Friday after heavy rains flood roads, force rescues” (Jan. 3): When are the city officials going to wake up and close those roads in Fashion Valley before they are flooded? Every year during the rainy season, there are rescues of people driving into the flooded areas there! The safety of the citizens and the extra cost of rescues could be reduced with a little forethought and planning.
