FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The Fresno food truck community is mourning the passing of one of its own.

Lida Nguyen, co-owner of “Where’s The Food?” food truck, was diagnosed with cancer in 2023.

She lost her battle on New Year’s Eve.

Lida’s husband, Henry Wickman, posted the sad news on his social media. “I’m heartbroken and devastated to say that my wife, Lida, passed away on December 31st, 2025. She courageously fought breast cancer for 2 years. Through all the chemo treatments and multiple surgeries, you never complained; you stayed strong and optimistic.”

Thank you for being my wife and my best friend for 27 years… thank you for being a loving and caring mother to our daughters… thank you for being the strength and foundation of our family… thank you Lida… I love you and miss you!

“Where’s The Food?” food truck won’t be on the streets for a while, so the family can spend some time grieving.

A GoFundMe was set up by fellow foodie Mike Osegueda from Fresno Street Eats.

I’ve known Henry and Lida since the beginning of their food truck journey and today I’m asking for the larger community to help them when they need it most.

“Unfortunately, being an entrepreneur doesn’t come with contingencies when things like this happen,” said Oz. “It’s why any help from the community around them would make this terrible situation just a little bit easier.”
