The Fullerton Women’s Leadership Forum, a highly anticipated community event, will take place on December 3, 2025, from 5 to 8 pm at the Fullerton Community Center. This year’s forum marks its 21st anniversary, highlighting the achievements of women in the Fullerton community and fostering connections among local leaders.*
The event is hosted by the City of Fullerton alongside City Council Members Shana Charles and Jamie Valencia, and the Women’s Collaborative of Fullerton (WCOF). Admission is free, and attendees can enjoy complimentary refreshments while visiting local non-profits during check-in at 5 PM.
Nominations for this year’s forum have now closed, with the submission deadline being August 31, 2025. The organizing committee expresses gratitude to all who submitted nominations, contributing to the celebration of women’s accomplishments.
The evening will commence with a welcome address delivered by Councilmember Dr. Shana Charles and WCOF President Carla Jones. A special presentation of colors will be conducted by the Girl Scouts of Orange County, followed by a rendition of “God Bless America” led by Dr. Vicki Calhoun.
The planning committee for the 2025 event includes prominent figures such as Fullerton School Board Trustee Ruthi Hanchett, alongside an array of dedicated community leaders including Carla Jones, Maria Jones, and Judith Kaluzny, among others.
As a highlight of the event, attendees will have the chance to win free raffle prizes at the end of the evening, marking a cheerful conclusion to a gathering focused on recognizing and celebrating the contributions of women in the Fullerton area. With its rich history and commitment to empowering women, the Fullerton Women’s Leadership Forum continues to be a pivotal event in the community’s calendar.
