ELLSWORTH COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) – A California woman died Friday in a two-vehicle crash in Ellsworth County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol Crash Log, the incident occurred on the K-14 Highway around 4:43 p.m.
A 2018 Chevrolet Equinox was heading southbound on K-14 when it began to spin counterclockwise. The vehicle then entered the northbound lane where it struck a 2022 Ford F-350 head on.

The driver of the Chevrolet, Stephanie Stevens, 54, of Rio Vista, Calif., suffered fatal injuries. Stevens was wearing a seatbelt.
The Ford driver, Mark Huseman, 47, of Ellsworth, Kan., had suspected minor injuries and was not wearing a seatbelt.
