A man suffered a non-life-threatening stab wound Sunday morning in Long Beach, authorities said.
Officers dispatched at about 1 a.m. Sunday to the 2100 block of Williams Street, north of Pacific Coast Highway and west of the Long Beach (710) Freeway, located a man with a stab wound to the upper body, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Paramedics took him to a hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
“The preliminary investigation indicates the victim was outside of a building when a male adult suspect approached and stabbed him in the upper body with a sharp object,” according to a police statement. “Suspect information and motive remain under investigation.”
