FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — The Fresno County Department of Public Health is reporting its first flu-associated death of the 2025-2026 season.
Officials say with infections increasing this time of year, it’s important to get the flu vaccine.
Details on the person who died were not made public.
Additional ways to protect yourself include staying home when sick, washing your hands often and covering your mouth when coughing and sneezing.
