Large tree falls atop car in Pacoima – NBC Los Angeles

A large tree toppled over a car in a residential neighborhood in Pacoima on Monday.

The downed tree was reported to emergency crews just after 4 p.m. on the 12300 block of Osborne Place, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. LAFD noted the tree may have taken down some wires during its fall.

NewsChopper4 was over the scene where the large tree was seen split in two. One part of the tree was atop a black car and the other part of the tree landed in the entrance of a parking lot for what appears to be an apartment complex.

No injuries were reported during the fall, LAFD said.
