(FOX40.COM) — Daniel Ezra Cannon, 50, of Sacramento, has been identified as the man who was recovered from Arcade Creek on Thursday, according to the Sacramento County Coroner’s website.

The Sacramento Fire Department said firefighters received a call just before 1:30 p.m. for a water rescue on the 3200 block of Marysville Boulevard. When crews arrived, they found a body floating in the water.

After Cannon was found, SFD said fire crews recovered his body from the creek.

The fire department spokesperson, Capt. Justin Slyvia, reported that Cannon was found in the water by a parole agent.

Sylvia said that Cannon was missing for two days and was tracked through his ankle monitor.

The coroner’s website showed on Monday that the manner of death is undetermined.
