A Powerball ticket sold at a Moorpark gas station is worth $812,200, according to the California Lottery officials.
According to lottery officials, the ticket was sold at the ARCO/AMPM at 50 W. Los Angeles Ave. at South Moorpark Avenue.
The lucky winner matched all five numbers but missed the Powerball number.
The numbers for the Saturday, Jan. 11 drawing were 5, 19, 21, 28, 65, and the Powerball number was 14. Because no one matched all six numbers, Monday’s jackpot jumped to $137 million.
California Lottery officials said no tickets with all six numbers were sold in tonight’s Powerball, bringing the estimated jackpot to $156 million for Wednesday’s drawing. Monday night’s numbers were 5, 27, 45, 56, 59, and Powerball number 4.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 7:59 p.m.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number are 1 in 292.2 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.9.
