FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A Fresno State Equestrian Athlete has been invited to attend the 120th National Western Stock Show in Colorado.

Brogan Hill and Quick Draw McGraw have been a team in this ring and barn for 10 years.

She already has the world title.

The duo is known for wowing the crowds in the freestyle reigning event.

Brogan Hill explained, “So freestyle reining is basically where you can get as creative as you want to be with your horse. You have a foundation of a couple of maneuvers that you have to do in a freestyle reining pattern. You have to do a minimum of three sliding stops, and he’s eating my boot, three sliding stops, four spins both directions, and a lead change both ways.”

She’s returning after coming in second for the reining event as the youngest competitor at the time, and earned the People’s Choice award.
