LONG BEACH, Miss. (WLOX) – The Long Beach School District will hold two meetings on Wednesday about realignment of school zones as the city’s population continues to grow.
The district is reviewing how the student population is distributed among the three elementary schools: Harper McCaughan Elementary School, Thomas L. Reeves Elementary School, and W.J. Quarles Elementary School.
Parents will have two options on Wednesday to learn more about school realignment and the district’s long-term strategic plan.
The meetings are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Long Beach High School Performing Arts Center at 300 East Old Pass Road.
