FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Police arrested a man in connection with a home invasion robbery on Sunday in Fresno.

Police responded to the call just after 6 a.m. in the 10,000 block of North Satin Nickel Drive, near Cedar and Copper Avenues.

When they arrived, they located two people near the entry/exit gate of the gated community, and detained them until they were able to be identified as additional victims.

The original victim told officers that he and his guests were all drinking alcoholic beverages, and they stayed the night.

In the morning, he invited a woman to come over.

After she left, a man identified as Adam Delacruz, fired two shots into the door, forced entry, and held the victims at gunpoint before stealing items.

Police say he was linked to the woman who had just left.

Delacruz was arrested and booked into Fresno County Jail.
