THE WOODLAKE SENIOR LIVING FACILITY IN SACRAMENTO HOLDING THIS SPECIAL EVENT TODAY. NORMA STILL TAKES PART IN EVENTS THERE AT THE CENTER. SHE’S GOT A GREAT SMILE THERE. SHE GOES TO THE SOCIAL GATHERINGS WITH ALL OF HER FELLOW RESIDENTS AND STAFF. AND TODAY SHE TALKED ABOUT SOME OF THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS THROUGHOUT HER LONG LIFE. I’VE DONE A LOT IN MY LIFETIME. I’VE BEEN A PAINTER. PORTRAIT PAINTER FOR THE LAST 10 OR 15 YEARS. BEFORE THAT, I WAS A STENOGRAPHER AND A ONE GIRL OFFICE, AND I WAS A DRAFTSMAN DRAFTSMAN FOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING. WOW. Norma Lovell, a resident of Woodlake Senior Living Facility in Sacramento, celebrated her 105th birthday this week with a special event organized by the center.Lovell, who remains active by attending social gatherings with fellow residents and staff, shared insights into her long and accomplished life.”I’ve done a lot in my lifetime. I’ve been a painter, portrait painter, for the last 10 or 15 years. Before that, I was a stenographer, and I was a draftsman for mechanical engineering. And I was a set designer,” Lovell said.The celebration included a party cart with wine, adding to the festive atmosphere.
