Fire crews contained a commercial fire at a 76 gas station on Florin Road and Stockton Boulevard. No injuries were reported.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A fire broke out Tuesday evening at a 76 gas station near the intersection of Florin Road and Stockton Boulevard, prompting a response from multiple fire agencies.
According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, crews were dispatched to the commercial property after reports of a structure fire. Firefighters arrived to find flames coming from the upper area of the gas station’s convenience store.
Metro Fire and the Sacramento Fire Department worked together to access the affected portion of the building and bring the fire under control. While suppression efforts were underway, crews also conducted a primary search of the store to confirm that no one was inside at the time.
Officials said no injuries were reported. The fire was contained to the upper section of the convenience store, and damage was limited to that area.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and remains under investigation by fire officials.
