Teenager left hospitalized after a vehicle vs pedestrian crash in North Sacramento     

(FOX40.COM) —  The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash in North Sacramento on Saturday afternoon.

According to Metro Fire, a 16-year-old boy was hit by a truck at the intersection of Walerga and Elverta Road and was transported to the hospital.

The California Highway Patrol Traffic log shows the pedestrian, who was on an e-bicycle, was hit by a black Chevy truck.

CHP Traffic Log indicated the bike was under the vehicle.

At this time, it is unknown what caused the crash.
