Action News is receiving more information about the deadly shooting in Northwest Fresno that happened Saturday night.

The Fresno Police Department says it responded to a shopping center on Shaw between Brawley and Marty Avenues around 8 p.m. when officers discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds near the AFC Urgent Care.

Both were taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where one of the men later died.

The other is expected to survive.

Officers later learned that the men were shot at a truck repair yard on South Cedar Avenue near Jefferson Avenue in the county part of Fresno.

The investigation was handed off to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies and homicide detectives went to the truck yard and found evidence of a crime scene.

Authorities later learned that the two men left the scene with another person, who eventually dropped them off at the urgent care.

No arrests have been made.
