1 injured in stabbing in Sacramento’s Midtown, police say

One person was injured in a stabbing in Sacramento’s busy Midtown neighborhood on Wednesday evening, according to the police department. Officers responded to the report of a stabbing just after 7 p.m. on J Street near 17th Street. Sacramento police said one man was found with at least one stab wound. He was taken to an area hospital, but the extent of his injuries is unclear. A KCRA 3 crew at the scene saw officers congregating near the front of a Target.
