A person was arrested after allegedly sexually battering a teen on her way to school in San Jose Wednesday morning, the police department said.
According to police, a 15-year-old girl told officers she was walking to school when a person approached her and pulled her into his vehicle, where he proceeded to sexually batter her.
Authorities said the girl went to her high school and reported the incident.
Shortly after, officials said they located and identified a possible suspect associated with the suspect vehicle. The suspect was found in south San Jose and was taken into custody without incident, police said.
The police department adds the victim was offered resources.
