BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Sixteen of Kern County’s newest first responders have graduated from the Harvey L. Hall EMS Academy after completing a rigorous 10-week program that included both classroom and field training.

Known as “Class 51,” these graduates are now prepared to tackle any emergency they may encounter.

Coulton Goldade, an instructor at the academy, emphasized the unpredictability of their future roles.

The ceremony took place at Lino’s Venue on H Street.
