Re “Blinkers on, courtesy off: It’s how local drivers roll” (Jan. 8): It bothers me that whenever I notice a traffic violation and I report it to the deputies at the local sheriff’s station, they always tell me that it is not their responsibility; that it is the responsibility of the California Highway Patrol. My response is usually something along the lines of “It is all law enforcement and isn’t that part of your job?” Why can’t the two law enforcement agencies share in common enforcement of the law? Oh, not my job, man!
