ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A mother whose 6-year-old son died in a 2021 road rage shooting on the 55 Freeway in Orange County is being sued by the boy’s father, ABC 7 reported.
The civil lawsuit by Joey Leos against Joanna Cloonan also names the shooter, Marcus Anthony Eric, who is currently serving a prison sentence of 40 years to life for the shooting of the child.
According to the report, the lawsuit alleges that Cloonan’s aggressive driving provoked the deadly shooting.
