Man seriously injured following crash involving dump truck on I-5 in Natomas, CHP says

A driver was seriously injured after crashing into a dump truck along Interstate 5 in Natomas on Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officers responded to the crash around 6 p.m. on southbound I-5 near the Arena Boulevard exit. CHP officials said a vehicle struck the back of a dump truck. The driver, a man, was taken to an area hospital with major injuries. Investigators are working to learn more about the circumstances surrounding the crash.
