The Bay Area will be in the spotlight with Super Bowl LX taking place Sunday, Feb. 8, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.

From a celebrity flag football game and drone show to tailgates and parties, here’s a look at some of the events taking place across the region during Super Bowl week.

Super Bowl Opening Night fueled by Gatorade

Location: San Jose Convention Center – 150 W. San Carlos St. in San Jose

Doors open at 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2

Fans can hear directly from Super Bowl players and coaches when arriving in the Bay Area.

The only public appearance players and coaches are making before the big game.

The event is free and fans can choose to either attend the AFC champions’ appearance or the NFC champions’ appearance. If interested, fans must register on the NFL OnePass app and entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Opening night concert and drone show

Location: SoFA District – South 1st Street in San Jose

Super Bowl Experience presented by Jersey Mike’s

Location: Moscone Center – 747 Howard Street in San Francisco

The Super Bowl Experience will be held from 3 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, through Friday, Feb. 6, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7.

BAHC Live! San Francisco Fan Zone

Location: Yerba Buena Gardens – 750 Howard Street in San Francisco

The San Francisco Fan Zone will be open from 3 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, through Friday, Feb. 6, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7.

Super Row Weekend and Big Game Tailgate

The event will held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, through Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 8.

Celebrity flag football game

Location: California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley

A celebrity flag football game will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, starting with a fanfest zone at 5:15 p.m.

Big Game drone show

Location: San Jose City Hall – 202 E. Santa Clara Street in San Jose

Catch another drone show closer to the big game on Santa Clara Street in San Jose. The show will begin at 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6.

Guy Fieri’s ‘world’s largest tailgate’

Celebrity chef Guy Fieri will host his Big Game Sunday Tailgate from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8.

Fieri’s Flavortown tailgate presented by SpotOn is free for anyone to attend. More than 10 restaurants will be in attendance, with the event also serving countless other food and drink choices.

BAHC Live! Oakland Fan Zone and Super Bowl Watch Party

Location: Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts – 10 10th St. in Oakland

The City of Oakland and the Bay Area Host Committee are bringing two free events to the Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts.

The free public event brings the excitement of the big game directly to Oakland with a full day of entertainment, culture and community pride.

Starting at 11 a.m. on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 8, a Super Bowl Fan Zone will be held outside featuring live music, special appearances, interactive experiences and a strong spotlight on Oakland and East Bay vendors.

And when it is time for kickoff, inside the Henry. J. Kaiser Center will be the only official NFL Super Bowl watch party in Northern California.
