Fresno honors MLK with 42nd annual garlanding ceremony

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — City leaders and the community gathered to celebrate the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr on Friday.

City leaders held a Garlanding Ceremony at the Fresno County Courthouse Park.

This is an annual event that has been held for 42 years.

The event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the City of Fresno Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Committee members.
