Officials said that the report of the collision came in at 3:44 p.m. at the intersection of Ingraham Street and Pacific Beach Drive.

SAN DIEGO — The San Diego Police Department is in search of the driver who fled the scene after hitting and killing a minor in Pacific Beach on Saturday afternoon.

Officials said that the report of the collision came in at 3:44 p.m. at the intersection of Ingraham Street and Pacific Beach Drive. 

A male juvenile was killed when a vehicle, described as a dark Jeep SUV, hit him. 

Officials are continuing to investigate the deadly collision. Information if DUI was a factor in the collision or details on what led up to the collision was not available at this time.
