SEATTLE, Wash. – The opening play of the Seahawks’ Divisional Round game against the San Francisco 49ers set the tone from the jump: 95 yards off the kickoff, touchdown Rashid Shaheed.
The Seahawks crushed and clobbered the 49ers on every facet, earning their largest playoff win ever over an NFC opponent, and largest against anyone since Super Bowl XLVIII against Denver, 43-8.
Seattle advances to host the NFC Championship at 3:30 p.m. at Lumen Field next Sunday. They’ll face the winners of Los Angeles and Chicago, which play tomorrow evening.
