SEATTLE, Wash. – The Seahawks edge closer to their Divisional Round kickoff against the San Francisco 49ers, but we had to catch up with some fans first.
Seahawks fans flocked en masse to the fan fest outside Lumen Field, ready for the first Seattle home playoff game with fans since 2016.
“Hopefully, we get to send them home, because I hate the Niners, and Lenoir, I hate Lenoir,” Seahawks fan Branden Todd said. “So, getting to send them home tonight would be amazing.”
From the young fans who haven’t seen a home postseason bout in their lives…
“I mean, that’s big, they really haven’t really got it since I was like one years old, like one, two,” Fisher Monger said.
To the experienced 12s back again…
“We were here in 2013 and 2014 when they were the NFC champions and to come back is incredible,” Seahawks fan Brenda Groves said. “It’s so exciting and so fun.”
Everyone, even the faithful from the Bay, showed up in full force.
“Anytime we beat the seahawks, it’s special, but it’s extra special when it’s a playoff game,” 49ers fan Charles Lincoln said. “So, I want to be out here poppin’ my collar on the way down.”
And don’t worry, we have some final score predictions too, and some are bolder than others.
“My prediction is like 35-7,” Todd said. “Brock purdy probably throws three interceptions and JSN has a legacy game.”
“it’s gonna be close, maybe 17-13,” Groves said.
“21-14, niners. That works for me,” Lincoln said.
