A MOTORCYCLIST was killed in a crash in Westminster (Shutterstock).
A motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries from a collision with an automobile Friday afternoon in Westminster.
According to the Westminster Police Department, at about 3:17 p.m. police were notified by the Orange County Fire Authority of a traffic collision in the area of Beach Boulevard and Madison Avenue.
The OCFA and California Highway Patrol were on the scene and it was determined that the incident was within the City of Westminster’s jurisdiction.
WPD traffic investigators and patrol officers responded to the scene. Their investigation indicates that “driving under the influence” doesn’t appear to be a factor in the incident.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
