SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Five lucky players in California have turned their team spirit into a seven-figure payday through the California Lottery’s Game Day Scratchers.
The lottery partnered with the Los Angeles Chargers, San Francisco 49ers, and Los Angeles Rams for the 2025-2026 season, offering a top prize of $1 million for each Scratchers game.
Two players claimed their million-dollar prizes with the Los Angeles Rams Scratchers.
Michael Richter won with a ticket purchased at Parkside Market on Thorn Avenue in San Diego. Ankien Ngo secured their win with a ticket from Samco on Hughes Lane in Bakersfield.

The California Lottery has been supporting public education since 1985, paying more than $90 billion to winners across the state. More than 95% of lottery sales revenue is returned to the community through prize payments, retailer compensation, and contributions to education.
Lottery proceeds provide supplemental funding for schools, supporting programs in athletics, career development, and the arts.
