The Rams followed up Cobie Durant’s opening-drive interception with a steady 14-play, 85-yard touchdown drive capped off by a 4-yard run by Kyren Williams.
They went with a good dose of heavy personnel and threw 10 times, with Jordan Whittington providing two catches for 35 yards. Puka Nacua converted a key third down and also brought a nice block on Whittington’s 20-yard catch-and-run.
The Bears are used to playing from behind in games and have won plenty that way, but it’s still the type of start the Rams envisioned in these conditions.
