BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A couple got married inside Kern Medical during an extended hospital stay.
Kern Medical posted the love story on social media.
In the post, it said, “While facing an extended hospital stay, one couple chose to turn a difficult season into a meaningful moment by getting married right here in our hospital.”
Staff brought flowers, a cake made by the café team, sparkling Martinelli’s apple cider, and “thoughtful touches that transformed their hospital room into a place of celebration.”

“Our patient shared that their hospital stay was a powerful reminder of how fragile life can be—and they didn’t want to wait another day to say ‘I do,’” said in the post.
