FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A full-circle culinary journey continues in Fresno on Tuesday.
Chef Matt Horn grew up in town before taking the national stage, and he’s officially bringing his critically acclaimed barbecue home.
FOX26 reporter Alexis Govea spent the morning at Horn Barbecue ahead of the grand opening.

“We have a really nice, big dining room for families to be able to come create events, create memories,” said Horn. “This is something that’s really cool, we have like a little stage, we’re going to be doing live music.”
Horn says he wanted to create a space for families to build and create experiences.
The Fresno restaurant is Horn’s fourth location, but the first in the Central Valley.
“I mean, it’s a full circle moment,” said Horn. “Whenever you go out, and you leave your home, you want to come back and do something really great.”
The grand opening takes place on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the new location in Granite Park, located at Cedar and Dakota Avenues in Fresno.
