Water line installation to close part of Jensen Avenue for several weeks

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Part of Jensen Avenue will be closed for several weeks for the installation of a water line.

The County of Fresno says the closure will be start on Thursday 22 and will be between Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Knight Avenue.

The schedule is weather-dependent, and it is anticipated to require several weeks for the closure.

Here are the expected traffic impacts:

Jensen Avenue will be closed to through traffic within the project limits of Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Knight Avenue.Drivers should follow the posted detour of Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, Church Avenue, Walnut Avenue (highlighted in green on the map attached), or find an alternate route.
