FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — There are Bulldog connections on three of the four NFL teams still alive in the playoffs, headlined by Rams wide receiver Davante Adams.
The former Bulldog led the league in touchdowns for the third time in his career.
Adams is now getting ready for his fifth NFC title game.
Fresno State’s all-time touchdown leader is also on the Rams.
Be on the lookout for Ronnie Rivers on kick return as he’s been averaging 26-yards per return.
The Rams’ offensive line coach is a former Bulldog.
Ryan Wendell was a four-year starter at Fresno State, where he was first-team All-WAC in 2004.
Wendell went on to win a Super Bowl with the Patriots in 2014.
The Denver Broncos also have ties to the Valley, with defensive line coach Jamar Cain holding the same role he had from 2017 to 2018 under head coach Jeff Tedford.
Before working under Tedford, Cain was a part of the same defensive staff as current Bulldogs head coach Matt Entz.
Former Bulldog linebacker Levelle Bailey is also helping the Broncos get ready for the Patriots as a member of the team’s practice squad.
