Two injured as car runs red light and collides with truck, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Two passengers were injured in a car accident on McKinley Avenue on Tuesday, police say.

Fresno Police arrived at a traffic accident that occurred at the intersection of McKinley and Clinton Way just before 7:30 p.m.

According to the police, a car was traveling eastbound on McKinley and ran a red light and collided with a pickup truck that was making a turn.

Two people from the accident were transferred to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.

Police say that drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this case.
