Two of Southern California’s hottest teams will square off Wednesday night when Harvard-Westlake travels to Chatsworth to face Sierra Canyon in a Mission League clash that could reshape the conference race. Both programs enter the matchup undefeated in league play at 4-0, with the visiting Wolverines (21-2) riding a 10-game winning streak while the Trailblazers (18-1) have won 13 consecutive contests.
Harvard-Westlake coach David Rebibo has leaned on a veteran core to fuel the Wolverines’ surge. Senior standouts Barron Linnekens, Amir Jones, Joe Sterling and London Lapointe have transformed the Studio City program into a legitimate title contender.
Sierra Canyon counters with depth and star power under head coach Andre Chevalier. The Trailblazers feature North Carolina commit Maximo Adams alongside Brandon McCoy Jr., Brannon Martinsen, DeLan Grants and JJ Sati-Grier, while rising sophomore Jordan Mize has emerged as another weapon in a formidable rotation.
Opening tipoff is set for 7 p.m. PT on Wednesday, January 21 with a live TV broadcast on NFHS Network.
