BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Cal State Bakersfield baseball team announced its Early Signing Period recruiting class of 2026, highlighted by a strong pitching presence and a group built through extensive recruiting efforts by the coaching staff.
Jordon Banfield, Head Coach of the Roadrunners, shared his thoughts on the class:
“Really excited about this group of players our staff was able to assemble. Those guys are workers and scour the country for the guys we need to elevate this program. Being able to sign five left-handed pitchers in one class is the thing that really stands out about this group. That and the majority of them being west coast guys really speaks to the relationships they’ve been able to build since arriving on campus a year ago.”
