LOS ANGELES – One person is in handcuffs, but not before leading an hours-long standoff in West Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call of an alleged burglary in progress at a home in the 1800 block of Brockton Avenue on Tuesday, January 20.
The suspect, reported by City News Service as a woman, spent hours hiding inside the home before eventually getting detained by police.
No civilian injuries were reported in both the alleged break-in and the standoff. It is unknown if the suspect was armed during the standoff.
