JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (WBRC) – Jacksonville State (JSU) football has added a road game to their 2026 schedule, Jax State athletics announced Wednesday.
Athletic officials say the Gamecocks will travel to The Golden State to take on San Jose State Saturday, Sept. 26. The matchup will mark just the second time that Jax State will have played a game in California and the first since 1980 when they played Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
In return, JSU says San Jose State will come to Jacksonville Sept. 22, 2035.
