San Diego Caffeine Crawl returns this weekend: Back for its 13th year this weekend, this event offers coffee-lovers self-guided tours to nearly 30 area coffee shops, roasters and chocolate makers.This year’s sponsors include Ryan Bros., Talitha Coffee Roasters, Crossings Coffee Roasters, Lofty Coffee and Provecho! Coffee Co. Participants can choose which of eight neighborhood routes they prefer. Each route features five stops. At each spot, ticket-holders receive a sample drink (or chocolate) plus a demonstration or talk about the space’s roasting or service philosophy. There are five routes to choose from on Saturday and three on Sunday. Crawls begin between 9:30 and 10 a.m. and last about four hours. Restaurant week: San Diego’s Restaurant Week returns this week with eight days of dining deals. Over 100 restaurants across the county will be offering specials on brunch, lunch and dinner courses. Some of the deals include a $28 brunch with a smoked pork belly hash, brioche toast and Spanish quiche at Great Maple and a $50 three-course dinner with choice of pasta, protein and dessert at The Godfather restaurant.
