Viral video shows a violent mob stomping and smashing a self-driving Waymo car on the streets of San Francisco.
The clip, which has racked up millions of views on social media, captured vandals climbing onto the vehicle and repeatedly kicking it while others joined in.
The mob got on top of the self-driving car and smashed the windshield.
One person is seen breaking through the vehicle’s windshield, as others join in to thrash it even more.
The incident occurred just after 11 p.m. on January 18 at the corner of Harrison and Main streets, police and Waymo confirmed to The Post. The company said there was no one in the vehicle during the attack.
The San Francisco Police Department said the investigation remains an open and no arrests have been made. Cops found the vehicle empty and destroyed when they arrived.
“We condemn any form of vandalism to property and are working closely with local safety officials,” a Waymo spokesperson told The Post. “We take them extremely seriously and remain committed to improving road safety and mobility in the cities where we operate.”
