BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern High School District is bringing back a program that allows student to gain hands on experience in the culinary industry.
ROC Bakery and Cafe is reopening at the Kern High School District’s Regional Occupational Center at 501 South Mount Vernon Avenue.
The space supports student who are interested in pursuing a career in the culinary arts or hospitality and gives them real world job experience.
Chef and Culinary Instructor at ROC Cafe and Bakery Justin Casey joined ARC Bakersfield to share more details about the program.
