Max temperatures will continue to run about 5 degrees warmer than normal through Monday — 70s on the coast and 80s inland, according to the National Weather Service.

Another round of pleasant weather is set to continue later in the week ahead of an expected return of rain over the weekend, according to the NWS.

“The models continue to show heavy rain probable from the Pacific Northwest to Northern California, with the Bay Area getting decent rain and some strong wind on the periphery,” the NWS wrote.
