On person was seriously injured and a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after a two-vehicle crash in the East Village, authorities said Sunday.
The crash occurred about 8:15 p.m. Saturday in the area of 15th and F streets, the San Diego Police Department reported.
Police said a Kia Optima speeding westbound on F Street broadsided a Subaru Forester on 15th street, then struck parked Ford F-150.
A passenger in the Subaru suffered serious injuries, which included a brain bleed and a ruptured diaphragm.
The driver of the Kia was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
