Security Footage Captures Jewelry Thieves Crashing Car Through Anaheim Store Door

Security footage captured the moment thieves crashed a car into the door of a jewelry store in Anaheim, California, on Friday, January 23.

According to news reports, citing the Anaheim Police Department, a total of eight suspects, all aged under 24, were arrested following the brazen jewelry robbery.

CCTV footage shared with Storyful by Classic Jewelers shows the moment the vehicle rammed into the shopfront. Masked thieves dressed in black are then seen rummaging through the counter.

“Employees reported that multiple suspects intentionally rammed a dark-colored Nissan Rogue into the front of the business to gain entry and steal jewelry,” Anaheim police said.

“During the burglary, the suspects also stole a firearm from behind the counter that belonged to the business.”

The suspects fled the scene using two getaway cars, with one allegedly causing a multi-vehicle crash at the Orangethorpe Avenue and Lemon Street intersection. The second car smashed into another motorist a few miles away, ABC7 reported. Credit: Classic Jewelers via Storyful
